Obama behind latest 9-11 scare … really!
The Obama Administration is behind the latest strategy to remind New Yorkers of September 11, 2001; they chose to get a “photo op” of Air Force One flying in front of the Statue of Liberty at an elevation of only about 1,000 feet. Naturally, the airheaded stunt caused a panic in NYC that included some 9-11-style evacuations of office buildings. Those free insurance quotes couldn’t arrive fast enough!
While the President quickly claimed, ala Colonel Klink, that he knew nothing, he saw nothing … well, it’s the President’s own plane, for crying out loud. We’re supposed to swallow that? Let’s just hope New York remembers it come Election Day 2012.
“For seven years, George W. Bush kept America safe from a second 9-11… In about 100 days, Barack Obama re-enacted it. Who do you trust with America’s homeland security. It’s time to put the adults back in charge. Palin-Perry 2012!”

Democrats who act like real swine… err, pigs
Obama Administration officials Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack may be faced with one of the most serious world health crises in recent memory, but at least they have their priorities straight.
While hundreds around the world are dying from the Swine Flu, Napolitano and Vilsack are campaigning hard to make sure… we adopt a more politically-correct name for the affliction. Oh, and they asked anyone at the press conference if they could sell them some green light bulbs that cost about $150 but save you ten cents a year on your electric bill.
The pressure for such politically correct terminology comes, of course, from the American Pork Producers, who have suggest such monikers as “the other white meat flu.” I’m certain grieving families around the world will be comforted by this show of compassion to pig farmers worldwide.

Specter switch isn’t much of one
After amassing a measly 40-percent conservative voting record and voting with the Republicans just over half the time, it came as a surprise to no one – except perhaps partner-in-RINO John McCain – when Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter flipped from GOP to the Democratic Party this week.
In an incoherent speech that rambled on about the GOP moving “too far to the right” (actually, it’s been suffering a severe leftward drift toward Specter’s side), about the only thing Specter didn’t blame the GOP for was plotting the spread of mesothelioma – and apparently only because his speech writer needed more time.
Considering his voting record, Specter’s switch matters only on paper; as long as Franken prevails in his election fraud victory, the Dems will have a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate for the next couple years. Which is great, when you think about it; no longer can anything Barack does be blamed on Republicans going forward.
This is the Dem majority’s mess, like it or not.
The good news is, Specter was facing a primary challenge from a real conservative in the Pennsylvania GOP, who now should sail to the nomination. And there’s no guarantee the Dems will nominate Specter. Even if they do, let them have him. He’s 79 and shouldn’t be running for a sixth term anyway.
While we’re at it, let’s show the rest of the RINOs in the Senate the door, too; it may bury the GOP in the short term, but it could very well save the party’s conservative soul.

Emails… I get emails…
Whether true dupes or faked propaganda, I get emails and comments from a variety of zittohead brainwashees on the topic of global warming. Most are convinced by emotional (but faked) photos of polar bears on ice floes. They couldn’t be more misinformed.
Yet there are reliable sources out there. I mention them whenever I feel frustrated by some idiotic story by an idiotic journalist participating in these liberal-socialist scare tactics, who would rather yell that the sky is falling than harvest their Blackberry plants.
They’ve been misled and misinformed by Algore’s misleading propaganda. For a more rational look at global climate change, read “Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1500 Years,” by Dr. Fred Singer and Dennis T. Avery, as well as “Climate of Extremes: Global Warming Science They Don’t Want You to Know” By Patrick J. Michaels and Robert C. Balling, Jr. If you prefer video over reading, try The Great Global Warming Swindle from the BBC.
From a scientific perspective, all this material is far more solid than emotion-based faked photos of polar bears on ice.

Obama ignores 50-minute diss
President Barack Obama sat through a 50-minute anti-American diatribe by Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega at the Summit of the Americas this weekend, and the strongest statement he made in response was to express gratitude that Ortega didn’t blame him personally for “the policy mistakes of the past.”
It seems President Obama is blithely unaware of the symbolic significance of being the President of the United States; when foreign leaders insult the US, he is indeed the target of said criticism. That Obama is too politically naive to realize this simply exposes the danger of his administration being in charge of foreign policy over the next four years.
Perhaps President Obama has feasted on too many of the best diet pills and his brain has actually lost weight.

Iran calls Israeli kettle black
The world needs more time spent on creating a Mesothelioma treatment than on this, but Iran just added layers of meaning to the word irony as they have demanded a UN response to recent Israeli threats of military strikes against Iranian military installations, including nuclear facilities.
In a show of raw arrogance lacking any sense of irony, Iran – the country whose president makes almost daily threats against Israel – asked the UN to step in and stop Israel from “making threats.” Somehow that must be a New Math problem… for me, it just doesn’t add up.
Of course, it’s the old double-standard dealio: Iran can say anything it wants – while building nuclear facilities against UN mandates, by the way – but if Israel so much as breathes wrong, it’s time to get all pissy?
C’mon, Iran, stop acting like a “charming only when adults are looking” little girl and man up to your own needless and endless threats against Israel first, before pointing out Israel’s threats. Clearly, this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black…

Dems vow revenge if Coleman succeeds
If Norm Coleman succeeds in proving election fraud (which is pretty darn obvious in this race) in his re-election bid against SNL candidate Al Franken, the Democrats in Washington are so drunk with power that they have vowed to never give Senator Coleman a moments rest; they will hound him with ethics probes for the entire six years, or until they lose their majority, whichever comes first.
While otherwise acting like mold killer, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who bears a distinct resemblance to the hindquarters of his party’s animal symbol, is proving that even in overwhelming victory, the Dems are sore losers.

Obama most polarizing Prez in modern history
Dems really really love President Obama and Republicans… really really don’t. That’s the “big revelation” from a recent Pew Research Center that determined that, since Nixon, no modern president has been more polarizing that President Obama… not even George W. Bush, his “much hated” predecessor.
The hard numbers are these: President Obama has a 61-point gap between the percentage of Dems who approve of his job performance, and the percentage of Republicans who approve of his job performance. Bush’s gap was only 51 points.
Of course, this pole is on early job performance, not whole careers, and let’s be frank… Bush didn’t exactly land with a controversial boom the way President Obama has. It’s not likely to get much sweeter for Obama down the line, either, as approval ratings for presidents tend to erode the longer they are in office and although the gap is 61 points, that’s likely to narrow as more Dems grow dissatisfied with Obama’s reign; it numbers aren’t likely to act like car insurance rates among Republicans, either, as midterm elections and Obama’s re-election bid are likely to only make matters worse.
